Daily Parking Terms and Conditions
RENTAL RATE: The Daily rental will be due and payable prior to parking. All checks should be made payable to MY PARKING BLOCK, LLC (Lessor), and all other payment forms are due before parking. Overages must be paid prior to departure to avoid shortages. The Daily rate for our lot ranges from $5 to $40 for a 24- hour period.
LIABILITY: All liability insurance must be current and a copy of the insurance card or policy, driver’s
license, credit card and the credit card form must accompany this daily agreement.
LOSS RESPONSIBILITY: The Lessee of the parking space shall be liable for any damage or theft of property from parking during the term of the lease, and Lessee is responsible for said parking garage/space. Lessee assumes all of the risks from parking on the property. All losses of any kind, including, but not limited to, damages, theft, vandalism, rioting, acts of terrorism, acts of God, acts of nature, weather, floods, or any issue are the sole responsibility of the Lessee. Lessee is parking his/her vehicle at his/her own risk.
INSURANCE VERIFIED: The vehicle(s) to be parked in said parking space shall have current registration and insurance, as verified by Lessor.
MAINTENANCE ON PROPERTY: No repairs of any kind are allowed on any of our property. No tire repairs, replacements, no minor repairs such as oil changes, or major repairs are permitted at any time. Any person or maintenance company doing work on a vehicle on our property will be asked to leave immediately with all of your vehicles.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY: The vehicle owner is responsible for any damage to the building, property, fencing, gates, or concrete pavement. Driver/Lessee must use caution when driving and parking and must use parking brakes when parked.
GATE CODES: Weekly Gate codes must not be shared, and all gates must be locked every time and at all times when a Driver/Lessee enters and exits the gates. This document must be signed and emailed to mystorageblock@gmail.com verified that it has been received. Transmission errors or unreceived faxes are the sole responsibility of the Lessee. Lessee must verify that all faxes and documents have been received.
VEHICLE PHOTOS: A photo of your truck/trailer or stored vehicle must be uploaded when filling out the hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly parking agreement to go into your file.
PARKING PERMIT: All vehicles must be backed into the assigned spot so that we can see the front of your parked vehicle and NUMBERED parking placard. Please print a copy of your parking payment receipt and place it on the dash of your vehicle.
You must place the parking receipt on your vehicle’s dash quickly to avoid being towed! We check and audit the lot every day, and all unauthorized vehicles will be towed immediately at the owner’s expense.
AGREEMENT EFFECTIVE DATES: This Agreement shall remain in effect from its submission date until either Lessee leaves from the above property and Lessor has received payment in full for Lessee’s daily parking on the premises, or Lessor terminates the Agreement.
ALL DAILY PARKING MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE OF PARKING: No vehicle can be on our lot with an outstanding balance. You can call in a payment every day or prepay for the anticipated day. Any unpaid daily parked vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
DEFAULT: Once the parked vehicle is in Default Status for Non-Payment, the vehicle will be towed from its existing parking space and location to another lot and held impound while court orders are being filed. All expenses of towing, court orders, and any costs will be the sole responsibility of the Lessee until the court order has been signed. Once a court order is signed by a judge, the vehicle is no longer owned by the Lessee.
LOCKING THE GATE: All persons using our facility MUST LOCK THE GATES every time you enter and every time you exit from the gates. Any person that leaves the gates open at any time will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will occur. So, even if there is someone inside our gate, you must lock them in. All persons inside the gate can let themselves out if the gate is locked behind them. PROTECT YOUR VEHICLE AND YOUR POSSESSIONS BY LOCKING THE GATE… EVERY TIME!
NOTICE OF HOW TO BETTER PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY: We are not responsible for watching your equipment, vehicle, or personal property. We provide a parking space with fencing and lights. It is up to you to protect and secure your vehicle and belongings. Using a kingpin device to secure your trailer, you can protect your vehicle(s) and property. Also, wheel locks and/or steering wheel locks are suggested to secure your vehicle or possessions. We also strongly suggest that you always have a GPS tracking or locating device always installed on your vehicle or trailer while storing or parking your vehicle or trailer.
Monthly Parking Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT: The Driver/Licensee is reserving the parking space on the property and must completely fill out the monthly parking agreement and reoccurring credit card payment form. We require the first and last months’ payment. According to this agreement, My Parking Block (Licenser) will process all payments on time. All payments will be made in accordance with the use of prepaid authorized credit cards, T and will be processed at least 7 days in advance of the renewal date. If the Driver/ Licensee has paid the full amount for the booking to My Parking Block at the time the booking is made, then no further payments are due to the Licenser until the payment is due again 7 days prior to the next term renewal date. The Licenser accepts the payment of the fees for the parking space licensing, and once the payment is made there will be no refunds, rebates, or price reductions. Prices will remain the same; however, when prices change, the price on the website will change; therefore, all increases will happen and be reflected in your monthly payment. Prices are liable to change without prior notice. In order to begin your contract, the Driver/ Licensee must pay the first month’s rent and the last month’s rent.
CANCELLATION POLICY: The driver/ Licensee must cancel parking by going to our website and filling out the cancellation form at least 30 days prior to the date you plan to stop using our facilities. The last 30 days will be paid by your last month’s initial payment s paid via your startup cost. My Parking Block has the right to void this contract without prior notice for any reason. If the Driver/Licensee defaults or fails to comply with any term or condition of this agreement, the Driver/Licensee will pay all costs of enforcement incurred by My Parking Block, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
INSURANCE, REGISTRATION, LICENSES, CREDIT CARD: The driver/Licensee’s liability insurance must be current, and a copy of the insurance card or policy, lessor's driver’s license, credit card, and the credit card form must accompany this parking licensing agreement. The vehicle(s) to be parked in said parking space owned and operated by the Driver/Licensee shall have current registration and insurance, as verified by Lessor.
HOLD HARMLESS: Driver/Licensee shall hold My Parking Block harmless from any and all actions and liability and shall indemnify My Parking Block against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, damages, and liabilities, including all attorney’s fees and costs, by Driver/Licensee, his/her employees, or invitees, arising from or in connection with Driver/Licensee’s possession and use of the rental space and premises. All risks included in the lease are the responsibility of the Driver /Lessee, including, but not limited to, natural causes, acts of nature, acts of God, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, accidental damage, motorist damage, wind, rain, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, volcanic, structural damage, tree damage, terrorism, vandalism, rioting, and/or any other possible damage or loss. All losses are the sole responsibility of the Driver/Licensee, including but not limited to natural causes, acts of nature, acts of God, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, accidental damage, motorist damage, wind, rain, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, volcanic, structural damage, tree damage, terrorism, vandalism, rioting, and/or any other possible damage or loss.. Driver/Licensee assumes all of the risks from or in connection with parking on the property. Driver/Licensee is parking his/her vehicle on the property at his/her own risk. Driver/Licensee shall indemnify and hold harmless My Parking Block, its officers, officials, parent companies, subsidiaries, employees, volunteers, agents, and any other affiliates from and against any and all claims, actions, lawsuits, or liabilities, including but not limited to injury or death of any person and/or for loss or damages of any kind to property, which arises out of Driver/Licensee’s use of the premises, or from the conduct of Driver/Licensee’s business, actions, vehicles, or from any activity, work or other thing done, permitted, or suffered by any of Driver/Licensee’s actions.
DAMAGES: The Driver/Licensee is responsible for any damage done to the licenser’s building, property, fencing, gates, or concrete pavement. Driver/Licensee must use caution when driving and parking and must use parking brakes when parked. GATE CODES: Gate codes are changed regularly and must not be shared. All gates must be locked whenever and when Driver/Lessee enters and exits the gates. Driver/ Licensee may not leave the gate open for others.
LOCK THE GATE EACH TIME YOU COME IN AND LEAVE! No exceptions.
LATE CHARGES: A late charge of $20.00 or 20%, whichever is greater, will be added to any monthly rental when payment is more than 3 days past due. Then, after 10 Days past due, a $25.00 charge will be added, and after 14 days, the vehicle will be deemed in default, and then the vehicle may be impounded, and a $50.00 a day storage fee will accumulate. PLEASE SEE THE ABANDONED VEHICLE SECTION BELOW. Notwithstanding such late charges, failure to pay the monthly payment on or before the due date shall be deemed a default of Lessee under the terms of this agreement.
ABANDONED VEHICLES: Once the vehicle is left on the property and the parking is unpaid for 14 days, the vehicle will be deemed abandoned and the vehicle will be towed and impounded. Court orders will be applied in order to gain ownership of the abandoned vehicles. Once this procedure starts, the costs and fees (including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and costs) associated with said action will be the sole responsibility of the Driver/Licensee. Once court order papers are signed and finalized by a judge, the vehicle will no longer be the property of the Driver/Licensee.
PERSONAL VEHICLE PARKING: All personal vehicles must be parked in the designated area on the property only. The licensee accepts full liability and responsibility for the personal vehicle parked on the premises. No personal vehicle will be allowed to be parked in a truck parking space. NON-PAYMENT DEFAULT: Once the parked vehicle is in Default Status for Non-Payment, the vehicle will be towed from its existing parking space and location to another lot and held in impound while the court orders are being filed. Please refer to the above item, Abandoned Vehicles, for an additional description of exactly what happens when a vehicle is unpaid. We reserve the right to move any vehicle to another lot due to non-payment.
